With a blush and a bronzer you give "life" to the face, in places where the sun would normally color the skin. The word blush says it all: it gives the impression of someone blushing, which often gives a fresh and healthy look. While with a bronzer you can warm up your face more and you will look a bit tanner. Mineralogie has an extensive range and therefore the right product for every skin type.

Why use blushers and bronzers?

Blushes and bronzers are each used for a different reason. Bronzing powder, also known as bronzer, is used to give your skin a beautiful tint. This way you look a little tanner and it looks like you have been lying in the sun. A blush gives your skin some extra accents, making your skin look more vibrant. So you can certainly use both blush and bronzer, depending on your wishes and the occasion.

Loose powder, pressed powder or stick: which form is best?

Our blushers and bronzers are available in Loose, Pressed and even Stick form. Each form of blush has a different effect on the skin. In general, loose powder gives a more natural look, pressed powder makes it easier to build up the color and the stick shape gives a more radiant glow.

Where should you apply blush and bronzer?

Both blushes and bronzer are applied in a different way and each have a different effect. There are different brushes for blushes and bronzers so that the product can be applied as beautifully as possible. Take a look at our collection of makeup brushes.

Apply blush

Where is the best place to apply the blush and bronzer? With blush: first smile at yourself in the mirror, so that the apples appear in your cheeks. Apply the blush to the rounded part of your cheeks. Then work the blush towards your temples or ears. This depends entirely on the effect you have in mind.

Apply bronzer

For the bronzer, apply it to the jaw, nose, cheekbones and forehead. Are you in doubt? Then keep the '3-shape'. With a bronzer you give 'life' to the face in the places where the sun comes: the protruding parts such as chin, nose bridge and forehead, for a summer glow. Start with your forehead and then apply some bronzer around your cheekbones. Then apply it to your jawline and finally apply some bronzer to the bridge of your nose.

Complete your radiant look with a finishing touch: the highlighter. You apply a highlighter to really accentuate certain parts of your face.

Which color suits me best?

The right color blush or bronzer is determined by your skin color and the look you want to create. Are you going for a natural look or do you want a striking color? Mineralogie offers blushes in an orange, red, brown or pink shade. On dark skin, it is best to use blushes that contain a lot of pigment, otherwise a blush may fade against dark skin.
